Born in Windsor and raised in Orillia, Stewart did his undergraduate studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, and then earned a graduate degree at the University of Ottawa.

He has lived in different parts of the province, and today calls Toronto his home. Passionate about politics and public affairs, Stewart has over two decades built a successful government relations business.

Stewart has volunteered as an elected EDA Director, campaign chair, and fundraiser for over 14 years. Living in a tough-to-win downtown riding, Stewart understands first-hand the challenges that regular conservative members and EDAs face. This is a core part about why Stewart first ran for National Council - to listen to our grassroots EDA volunteers across the province and to give them a voice at our Party’s national table. Stewart wants to make our Party once again work for our rank and file - not the other way around - and believes that our Party must listen to its greatest cheerleaders: the men and women who volunteer their time to a cause in which they believe.
